I saw so many recommendations for His & Hers by Alice Feeney. It was quickly rated well on Goodreads and it’s been on my TBR since being published in 2020. Luckily my local library had a few copies to borrow because I have yet to find it used. A trip to the library is an opportunity (or excuse?) to peruse the little used bookstore inside and grab iced coffee on the way home.

After experiencing tragedy and ending her marriage, career-oriented Anna Andrews is finally seeing the light as an esteemed BBC news anchor. That light is quickly put out when she is abruptly demoted from the highly coveted position and assigned to cover a small town news story. A small town where the mother she has been avoiding and her ex husband both happen to live. Add in a former mean girl murder victim and a mysterious yet creepy narrator and viola: a 4 star read for me.
I flew through this book, devouring it in one day. The multiple points of view kept it interesting without getting confusing and I simply wanted to know who the hell did it. I will admit I was taken aback by the ending and absolutely did not see it coming… I LOVED IT. Feeney was clever with the mystery point of view, this is one I’ll read again.
