TOTAL TIME: 25 MIN. I SERVES: 2 -3
Ingredients:
- 8 ounce round of Double Cream Brie
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon or clove of garlic, minced
- 3-4 tablespoons spicy or hot honey
- Dash of cinnamon
- Pinch of kosher salt
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 400°.
- Start by preparing a small cast iron skillet or oven safe baking dish with 1 tablespoon of butter and the garlic. Place the butter and garlic in the oven to melt the butter and allow the garlic to become fragrant. This should only take a few minutes.
- When melted, transfer to a small bowl and set aside. You’ll use the buttered skillet or dish in the next step.
- Next, score the top of the Brie round and place it in the buttered skillet or dish.
- Spread the melted garlic butter all over the brie. Next, drizzle with about 2-3 tablespoons of honey.
- Place in the oven and bake for about 15 minutes or until the brie begins to slightly bubble.
- When the brie is ready, drizzle another tablespoon or so of honey.
- Finish with a dash of cinnamon and a pinch of kosher salt.
- Serve with apples, grapes, and crackers. We like the homemade rosemary ones pictured.
