Books to Read if You Loved Practical Magic

For magical realism fans with a touch of romance.

If you loved:

  • Practical Magic by Alice Hoffman ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5) The Owens sisters carry the two hundred year old legacy of being blamed for all that goes wrong in their sleepy Massachusetts town. Now that they are grown and being pulled back to the Aunts house, will the Owens bond be strong enough to spark some magic and break the pattern?

Read this:

  • Garden Spells by Sarah Addison Allen ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5)
The magical tale of the Waverley sisters and their prophetic fruit. This debut novel is what whimsical garden dreams are made of.
  • The Glass Kitchen by Linda Francis Lee ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5) Another heart warming sisterly storyline that leans heavy on the food magic variety. My copy is very well read.
  • The Friday Harbor Series by Lisa Kleypas ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4/5) This one is for my Pacific Northwest lovers. The Friday Harbor series is technically romance but you get the same Owens sister’s essence with a sliver of magic. Perfect for a fall binge read.

My favorite?

A bonus! The second book in the Garden Spells series, First Frost by Sarah Addison Allen builds from the first novel perfectly.
