Prosciutto, Cheddar & Egg Bagels

ACTIVE TIME: 5 MIN. I TOTAL TIME: 20 MIN.

Ingredients:

  • Jalapeño cheddar bagels
  • Shredded cheddar cheese
  • Sliced prosciutto
  • Eggs
  • Black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Leaving the bagel whole, carve a round “bowl like” hole out of the middle of each one.
  4. Sprinkle the bagels with shredded cheddar.
  5. Next, line the bagel “bowl” with a slice of prosciutto.
  6. Add an egg to each prosciutto-lined bagel. A tip on the egg: I crack it and discard some of the egg white to allow no overflow and more yolk. Do what you want!
  7. Finish with a dash of black pepper and bake for 10-14 minutes, depending on how you like your eggs.
  8. Serve warm or reheat in the morning for a quick breakfast.
