Ingredients:
Apple filling
- 4 Granny Smith apples, peeled and cubed
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon gluten free flour
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Crumble topping
- 1 cup gluten free flour
- 1 cup gluten free rolled oats
- 2/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- A pinch of salt
- Vanilla bean ice cream, for serving
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- In a medium bowl, combine the apple filling ingredients and stir to fully coat the cubed apples.
- In a separate bowl, combine the topping ingredients and mix until a crumbled consistency forms.
- Evenly distribute the apple filling into four individual baking dishes (or one large dish) top with crumble topping.
- Bake for 25 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and bubbly.
- Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream.
