Easy Individual Apple Crumble

ACTIVE TIME: 10 MIN. I TOTAL TIME: 35 MIN. MAKES: 4

Ingredients:

Apple filling

  • 4 Granny Smith apples, peeled and cubed
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon gluten free flour
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Crumble topping

  • 1 cup gluten free flour
  • 1 cup gluten free rolled oats
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • A pinch of salt
  • Vanilla bean ice cream, for serving

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the apple filling ingredients and stir to fully coat the cubed apples.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the topping ingredients and mix until a crumbled consistency forms.
  4. Evenly distribute the apple filling into four individual baking dishes (or one large dish) top with crumble topping.
  5. Bake for 25 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and bubbly.
  6. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream.
